I loved working with my couple when they were at Hotel El Gonzo. There are plenty of hotels along the resort strip but this one was a little more secluded on its own part of the beach. Huge suites to spread out and get ready in.
There are so many gorgeous spots at Acre Baja that we can use for family portraits. Once everyone is ready from the hotels, I suggest shuttling just family and wedding party to the venue for photos first.
Throughout the day, I like to have at least an hour with you two. 15 minutes at the first look, 30 minutes of early day portraits and at least 15 minutes for sunset. This gives us ample variety and some away time from all your other guests.
The venue will be able to offer the best guidance, but approximately 2 hours prior to sunset. This gives you perfect lighting at the ceremony site as well as the cocktail hour pool.
The primary spaces available at Acre Baja are treehouses. This is not ideal for getting a full bridal party ready with hair and makeup. I highly recommend getting a local hotel and hiring a shuttle to carry guests to and from.
This is something you'll want to check with the hotel about. Depending on the time of year and how dry the season has been, we might need to come up with some other equally gorgeous exit to your wedding day!
