One of my most favorite places to shoot Bridal Portraits is at Deception Pass in Washington State. I was so excited to share this location with Nate and Yolanda for their anniversary-style bridal portrait session. Nate and Yolanda have a super unique love story. Nate traveled to Mexico for a mission trip and stayed with Yolanda’s family. They reconnected on Facebook over a decade later and fell in love long-distance style. They have now been married in both Mexico and America. However, they didn’t really have the wedding photos they wanted.
Thus, I was HONORED to bring them up to Deception Pass to make some magic. We started in their wedding attire on the upper cliffside. With a little bouquet, the session felt like a whittle mini wedding itself. The sun was setting perfectly over the water and these two were all kinds of romantic.
We ended the session down on the lower rocks. You can actually safely climb onto them which makes for some epic photos. Sultry, intimate, and spicy. That’s how I would describe their chemistry in three words.
Thank you Nate and Yolanda for traveling alllll the way up to Deception Pass for your portrait session. It was an absolute honor to recreate some of your wedding portraits and create fresh new images. Enjoy!
