I’m SO excited to show you this cute Discovery Park engagement session that started up in Ballard at Lacey and Alex’s first date spot; Salt & Straw Ice Cream Shop! With notes of nostalgia, we started at this super special location. I highly regret that I was on a diet during this session and that I didn’t partake in the ice cream. They have a LUCKY CHARMS flavor..with the marshmallows! WHAT!
It was such a treat (pun, intended) to spend the afternoon with these two. Joyful, playful, always a smile around the corner. Hearing stories from when they first started dating, chatting about their wedding coming up this summer, time flew by!
After they devoured their insanely delicious ice cream (still jealous!), we headed to Discovery Park. Just a hop and a skip down the road, the park is home to some of the prettiest views in the city of Seattle. While you’re at Discovery park, you tend to forget you’re in the city. With vast fields, forest patches and views of Puget Sound, it’s easy to get lost in it’s beauty. We scored a perfect sunset day, so golden hour was epic.
I have to admit, these two made my job too easy. They are so giggly and cute together, I literally just had to point and shoot. I’m so excited for their intimate wedding this summer, but for now, I’ll just have to swoon over their Discovery Park engagement session. Cheers!
