The Wedding Day
Sarah & Tommy’s elopement at Gold Creek Pond was something I’ve been dying to photograph for yearsssss! Sarah and I have known each other for over 10 years, since we met at Gold’s Gym in Seattle. We were both working there and hit it off! Sarah is an incredible person, full of love and wit…not to mention a fellow cat-mom. Tommy and Sarah went through the wringer during the train-wreck that was 2020. Between shutdowns and reschedules, these two kept their spirits high and ultimately planned the perfect day for them.
Their wedding was small, intimate, and sweet. Just their closest people in the place they love; the Pacific Northwest.
Sarah & Tommy’s Gold Creek Pond ceremony was followed up with the most fun reception I’ve been to in a long time! We headed down I-90 to XXX Burgers in Issaquah for a fry-filled evening. Shakes, burgers, laughter, and friends. Just the best memories you could ask for. Thank you Sarah and Tommy for trusting me with this chapter, I’m so honored to have been there.
Elopement at Gold Creek Pond
This stunning location is near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington in Mt. Baker National Forest. This location is an amazing sight to see between the waterfalls, the crystal clear pond, the wildflowers, and the willows. You will seriously fall in LOVE when you see it. This is the perfect place for an intimate elopement due to its beauty and quiet surroundings! Every time I come back to this picturesque location, I feel like I fall in love all over again and my couples always love it too. It is dog-friendly so bring along your pups! Gold Creek Pond is also wheelchair accessible, and perfect for hiking on snowy days because of its large paths paved out.
If you are planning on having your elopement here, there are hotels and resorts nearby for you and your guests to stay and get ready. It’s so important to find a location that is quiet and beautiful if you are planning to elope. Eloping is an intimate experience for just the bride and groom with possible guests so picking somewhere remote is something I highly recommend for added privacy and intimacy. This location always blows my mind and is one I’m always stoked to return to it. Give me a shout if you are thinking of eloping here or having an intimate wedding day!
