We’re headed back to the Mount Rainier National Park today with Jessica and Marvin’s Mountain Top Lookout engagement session! These two made the trek up the mountainside for some gorgeous views and some good times!
In late August, we were all still in the full swing of quarantine time. Lots of people were venturing outdoors to escape the mundane view of their living rooms so I kept needing to find more and more remote locations for clients. Literally, everyone and their mother is now an outdoor enthusiast. It makes photos a little more crowded than they used to be 😉 This particular lookout is a pretty easy hike and even though it’s popular on the weekends, the weekdays are still pretty quiet. A little four-wheel drive and you’ll get there no problem!
Located in the Mount Rainier National Park, there are so many lookouts that offer gorgeous views and mini-adventures for my couples. I was so excited that Marvin and Jessica were willing to come allllll the way out to the mountains and spend the evening with me. I loved how adorably shy they were together. Their sweet chemistry made for easy shooting. When my couples are nervous about being in front of the camera, I just have them focus on each other. This gives them something to do with their hands while I move around and snag all the happy snaps.
I cannot wait for their wedding this May in downtown Seattle! Until then, enjoy their trip into the wild for their Mountain Top Lookout engagement session!

Psst, if you like this session I know you’ll LOVE Bryony & Walter’s Mountain Spring Lodge wedding in Leavenworth, Wa! There is nothing as beautiful as fall in Washington State!
