Ruby Beach Engagement Session | Kristie & Miguel

May 16, 2022

Couple runs together down the beach at sunset

ooooh! Today’s Ruby Beach engagement is going to be a good one! Kristie and Miguel said they wanted an adventure so they got one! We drove the 3+ hours to get to the Penninsula of Washington and it did not disappoint. Glassy beach, stunning clouds… it was allll there.

Kristie and Miguel have this magnetic chemistry together. They met on Facebook and Miguel asked Kristie out to dinner for her birthday. The rest is history, as they say. They both love that they are super affectionate towards each other and have complementary personalities. One of their favorite memories was being locked down for 3 months during the pandemic. Sharing time with date nights in and out, these two are electric together.

I loved getting to have a longer session with Kristie and Miguel. We shared stories, laughs, and it felt like talking to two long-time friends. We stayed through the sunset into the dark twilight, grabbing some fun bright flash photos at the end.

I’m so excited for their wedding this summer at Jardin del Sol (one of my favorite venues) and to meet all their favorite people. Till then, enjoy this very large peek into their Ruby Beach engagement session!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT sarah

Hello, there! I'm Sarah and I'm a wedding photographer who believes in giving a damn in both life & business.

Skipping over the part where I picked up a camera, decided to be a photographer and my parents told me to get a 'real job', I truly found a love for storytelling once I got into weddings. Weddings are these multifaceted microcosms of stories and relationships that continue to keep me fascinated and excited about capturing them,
