Seattle Arboretum Park Engagement Session | Molly & Ian
I'm a wedding photographer and educator who believes giving a damn in both life and business will change how we show up for each other. I'm excited you're here, have fun exploring everything I've created for you!
Where do I even begin with these two? When I met up with Molly & Ian for their Seattle Arboretum Park engagement session, I knew from the FIRST MOMENT these were “my people.” Sweet, kind, generous, and full of laughter. I think this was one of my favorite sessions during that summer.
Seattle Arboretum Park is located close to the University of Washington Seattle campus, shrouded in lots of trees, filled with bike paths and gorgeous pockets to shoot in. We started at the notorious bridge at the entrance to the park. While sometimes crowded, we managed to snag some solo shots! We followed the trails together chatting about life, work, and what life had been like during the pandemic.
When we moved deeper into the park for their second outfit, we ran into a BIG little problem. Mosquitoes. We stopped on a bench close to the water and within TEN SECONDS I had dozens of bug bites. I literally took 5 frames and looked down at my legs to see them COVERED in mosquitoes. It was terrifying! We hightailed it out of there and compared bite counts the next day. Hilarious. Note to self, always bring an excessive amount of bug spray in the summer season.
I cannot wait for Molly & Ian’s wedding at The Ruins in Seattle this October! Till then, enjoy their absolutely adorable engagement session at the Seattle Arboretum Park.
