When Kathryn and Marc reached out to me about shooting their Seattle City Hall Wedding I was SO excited. If you have the chance to elope in Seattle and want the City Hall experience, make sure you get the rooftop view. As far as “courthouse” weddings go, it’s absolutely stunning all by itself. Overlooking the Puget Sound with the Smith Tower in the background, at sunset, you can’t beat it.
Kathryn and Marc have been together for over 6 years (4 of which they were engaged!). Needless to say, they were tired of waiting and were excited to get this party started. Simplicity was the name of the game for these two and Kathryn’s dress choice perfectly echoed that sentiment. These two looked city chic!
We started the day with walking around downtown Seattle to some of my favorite corners. From parking lots to door entry ways, there is no place you can’t find beauty in. We lucked out with an absolutely PERFECT weather day. Given that it was November, this was literally one in a million. After touring the city and snagging some happy snaps, it was time to head back to Seattle City Hall to check in with the judge!
We actually took care of most of the paperwork prior to the ceremony. Short, simple and sweet, Kathryn and Marc sealed their vows over the city of Seattle with their closest friends. You could tell the entire world melted away for them and THAT is my favorite moment on a wedding day.
