The Wedding Day
Where do I even begin with Danielle & Kris’s wedding at Kelley Farms? Well, I suppose with a little background! If are an avid reader here, you’ll remember that Danielle and I are childhood friends. I’m talking on bikes till twilight playing cops & robbers with the neighborhood group. Some of the fondest memories of my life, truly. That being said, this day was extra special since it was for such a dear friend of mine.
Danielle got ready with her best girls, laughing up a storm the entire way. Kris and the guys hung out in the groom’s shack with drinks and some country music. From Danielle’s first look with her dad all the way through to the dancing, there was so much joy mixed with happy tears. Danielle and Kris cherish family time and were so excited to share this chapter with EVERYONE they love. While being one of my sweetest couples, these two also know how to party! Their reception dance floor was packed! I couldn’t have asked for a higher honor as a friend or a better day as a photographer.
The Venue At The Kelley Farm
The Kelley Farm is on 200 acres of pristine farmland in Bonney Lake. Recently renovated and restored, the Corliss family has seamlessly blended the past and the present. The interior of the Barn features reclaimed barn wood siding, bold support posts, shimmering chandeliers, twinkle-light wrapped upper beams, custom acid-washed floors, built-in radiant heat, and restrooms with gold pans sinks.
Oversized artfully crafted swinging barn doors open up onto a beautiful, spacious concrete stamped patio that overlooks the pasture and farmlands below. This option invites you and your guests to enjoy the perfect setting of an indoor-outdoor entertainment center. The Kelley farm consists of beautiful farm fields to a rustic barn. Every detail of their venue is crafted with the special needs of their brides and grooms in mind. There is plenty of privacy, private grounds, indoor and outdoor ceremony, and a charming bridal cottage, and plenty of parking.
The Kelley Farm can accommodate up to 300 guests (or more if you opt for a tent) which is amazing as well. Their 100-year-old bridal cottage is the perfect private sanctuary for the bride and her attendants. Carefully restored to its original charm, the house offers dressing rooms, a private bathroom, kitchen, and porch.
