The Wedding
Sarah and Blakes’s Tsillan Cellars wedding was epic…epically hot in more ways than one. Sarah and Blake’s wedding day just so happened to have fallen on the HOTTEST weekend in Washington’s recent history. It was a whopping 105 degrees with zero to no shade…but that didn’t get anyone’s spirits down.
We started the day by getting ready at two incredibly well-air-conditioned homes (yay!). The gals were playing cards while the guys were having wayyy too much fun posing with Blake’s new golf clubs. Needless to say, from the moment we started shooting this story was full of laughter, banter, and sweet moments.
I think my favorite part of the day was watching all the smaller stories unravel themselves. Stories from toasts, guests interacting, and Sarah’s big brothers sharing extra hugs and tears with her.
Sarah & Blake were absolute TROOPERS for the insanity that was the heat that day. They rallied and made some memories for a lifetime with their favorite people. Thank you, Sarah and Blake, for trusting me to capture this day for you.
The Venue at Tsillan Cellars
If you live in Washington State and are on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue, look no further. Tsillan Cellars is absolutely breathtaking that I would recommend a million times over!
This venue is located on Lake Chelan’s Vineyard aka “The Italian Country.” This area and venue will make you feel like you have just been transported to Italy- and who doesn’t want that? Moreover, this venue produces wines from the best wine regions in Washington State. You will be guaranteed the best wine-tasting experience which is yet another huge bonus of going with this venue! Their vineyards are on 40 acres of their 135-acre land. Their land consists of waterfalls, terrazzos, gardens, amazing Italian architecture, an elegant indoor/outdoor pavilion, and a wedding gazebo overlooking Lake Chelan and the Cascade Mountains. I mean what more could you ask for!
