I’m so excited to share with you some awesome photos from Ashley and Cooper’s Whidbey Island engagement session!
Whidbey Island is one of those special places here in Washington state. You can actually drive to the island from the north side but most travelers embark upon a ferry ride across the sound. However short the ferry ride, ferry LINES are no joke. Pacific Northwest residents take their ferry line rules very seriously and you better, never ever, never ever ever ever, cut that line haha.
I’ve known Ashley for several years now. We go back to our dance days on our high school dance team (Kentridge Chatelaines, holla!) and when I tell you this girl has legs for dayyys…I’m not lying. I was so honored when Ashley reached out to me after Cooper had proposed (in Norway!) because it always means the world to me when family and friends trust me to capture parts of their lives.
We settled on heading to Whidbey Island for their engagement session, more specifically to a place called Ebey’s Landing. It’s a gorgeous bluff that overlooks the west side of the sound, thus giving us a perfect golden hour! We even had the most epic photo bomber…you’ll have to scroll down to see for yourself!
I cannot wait for their fall wedding at Suncadia resort next year, but till then, enjoy a few happy snaps from their Whidbey Island engagement session!
